Our path to a model company

A modern pharmacy needs to specialise. It has to deliver, be innovative, and its benefit for therapists, customers and patients must be measurable.
Burg-Apotheke LAB has taken this path. Following the liberalisation of the pharmacy market, we evolved from a classic pharmacy with its traditional role as a "dispensary for medicines", which politicians still prescribed up to the 1990s, into a company with a range of strategic business areas. The main focus was on the production of sterile custom formulations and individual re-blistering.

With the foundation of EUROZYTO GmbH in 2013, we established a manufacturing company with a production licence in accordance with § 13 AMG (Medicinal Products Act) that produces parenteral nutrition and ready-to-use cytostatic preparations in accordance with the GMP guidelines that apply in Europe for contract manufacturing.

Burg-Apotheke LAB forms the interface. Separate specialist teams for nutrition and cytostatic therapy are available all day for consultation and order processing.

Our logistics and shipping department ensures that your orders reach you on time – regardless of whether they come from the production company or the pharmacy laboratory.

We also stand for innovation in the field of medical products. The development of NONATUBE®, a nutrition bag designed for the individual compounding of parenteral nutrition with nine separate, individually fillable chambers, is a milestone in the complete outpatient care of oncology patients. In addition, the variants HEPTATUBE® with seven chambers and OCTATUBE® with eight chambers are available depending on the volume and energy requirements as well as the number of drugs to be administered,.
