We define scientific standards

The new Pharmacy Operating Regulations provide the guidelines for this. Quality management is mandatory. Burg-Apotheke LAB was one of the first pharmacies to voluntarily undergo TÜV certification in accordance with DIN ISO. This certification, which we have held since 2006, is renewed each year.
The intention was to align the production of custom formulations with industry standards as far as possible. This includes in particular quality assurance in the area of the individual custom and large-scale formulations produced by us.

The government has not laid down specific rules, but leaves it up to the scientific expertise of the pharmacist to establish the rules for quality control of the final product.

We aim to satisfy this requirement, and in some cases our laboratory equipment and test methods go far beyond what is prescribed by law.

That is a good thing for therapeutic safety, as well as for your patients.

Of course, none of this would be possible without excellent employees. Our production and analytical teams are highly motivated and work hand in hand to complete all orders in the shortest possible time

Regular staff training ensures that our high quality standards are maintained. Scientific standards are good. Complying with them is better.
